Spur of the moment sculpture! I don't know what inspired me, I just felt like doing something new in clay without a damn complicated armature, and voila! This took about 10 hours altogether, I think my fastest sculpture to date. It seems like only the unplanned ones ever work out

She's about 5 1/2 inches long, fitting nicely in your palm, and she's going to be painted gold later, whenever I get time to do it.

I don't mean to brag, but ISN'T SHE JUST SO CUUUUTE?! I'm proud :D

That is just.... amazing.

If you have the means, I'd suggest making similar simple-ish babies on commission. God knows there's a lot of people who play Pern, and I'd kill for a little replica of my Sulith.

What did you sculpt this little guy with?

That is absolutely beautiful...she baked in a very attractive pattern, too, and the detail is...stunning. Where do you get your clay? XD

----We could all learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are dull, some are pretty, some are ugly, some have weird names and all are different colours....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ----

Thank you! I thought it made the pose a little more endearing :)

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.

I've thought about it, but every time I try to plan one, it never pans out. It seems that only when one pops out of nowhere that one ever gets finished. Which is infuriating when I WANT to plan a more elaborate one.
